Blaze Pizza is moving its HQ from Pasadena to Atlanta

The company is doing so even though it has 96 restaurants in California, while Georgia has only six locations. With such an imbalance, it’s hard to believe the cause is strictly to help “drive our next wave of growth.” California’s high taxes and abusive regulations are likely significant reasons for the relocation. But it’s unwise for the company to say so because the state’s inspectors could suddenly find “problems” at those 96 locations. One of the most prominent American oil companies, Chevron, will relocate the company’s headquarters from San Ramon, Calif., to Houston, Texas, beginning at the end of this year.
