With such an imbalance, it’s hard to believe the cause is strictly to help “drive our next wave of growth.” California’s high taxes and abusive regulations are likely significant reasons for the relocation. But it’s unwise for the company to say so because the state’s inspectors could suddenly find “problems” at those 96 locations.
